It seems I am really bad at keeping up my blog lately. Oops. When I found out that the pictures on my blog aren't showing up, I just kinda stopped caring. But I am going to start caring again, even though there isn't a ton going on in our lives. We moved back to Rexburg and are LOVING our new apartment. My favorite part about it is the washer and dryer...IN OUR APARTMENT! We have everything we need! Extra storage space, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, cable AND internet! I am much happier here than I was our old place :) As soon as we moved back I started work. My first full year of teaching! I LOVE IT! I couldn't ask for a better class and better people to work with. I love being a first grade teacher. Even though it is officially my first year, I feel very prepared and like I don't have to do a TON of work, like other first year teachers. Student teaching and teaching at the end of last year really prepared me. They are so cute and sweet. I love getting the hugs and watching them light up when they learn something. I have the best job in the world and I couldn't be happier. It is also a huge plus getting the weekends and holidays off and getting home at 4:30 with nothing to do but be a wife and do crafts. Mark has been studying like crazy this semester. It is just a sign of what is to come when he goes to medical school...so I guess I better get used to it. We now have an office in our apartment for him to study in, so it is really nice just having him home instead of at the library until 11:30 p.m. He is looking forward to the Christmas break for sure. As am I. We both have also been playing on competitive volleyball teams this semester. It has been fun and I am sad to see it end, yet happy at the same time. It has been taking up a lot of time for Mark and he has been extra stressed. Let's just say we probably won't be playing competitive volleyball again for BYU-Idaho. But it was fun while it lasted.
Side Note:
I never posted about our anniversary, but it was wonderful! Mark took me to dinner at The Roof in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and it was a DELICIOUS dinner with the most gorgeous view I have ever seen. Mark called about a month early to reserve a spot with the best view of the temple. And it was sure beautiful. It was a wonderful anniversary and we are hoping to go to California for our next one. We shall see what happens. :) I sure love him and I am a very happy wife thanks to him!
We haven't taken many pictures lately, but here is what I could find:
We are SO lucky to live so close to family! Scott and Sara live SO close and we get to see them so often.
They also got a new addition to their family, and I just love snuggling our new adorable niece!
Another plus about having family so close is they invite us to do fun things! Mark was at volleyball practice this night, but I got to go to a maze with them. It was so much fun! We even got to see a camel!
We spend Halloween with the Bailey's too! It is so much more fun with kiddos.
Mark was at volleyball practice again...
While we were living in Utah over the summer, Jerica and I got to meet David Osmond again. Very nice guy with a wonderful voice. I love going to his concerts!
We got to go to Brit's soccer game! Can you see the huge pile of grass by his shoes? I think he would have rather done that than play in the game...
While we were in Utah, we went to the zoo and we went to This Is The Place! Both fun places to go to.
