Summer Time!

So I am officially a horrible blogger...but this summer has been INSANE! It has been so busy, and now I actually have some time to blog. SO much has happened I don't even know where to start.

So we have been spending the summer in Salt Lake. Mark has been working at a geneology place with his mom and brother as well as doing his internship at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah...working with mice. Gross. While he has been doing that, I have been working as a full-time nanny for 3 kids as well as preparing for school NEXT MONTH! Yup...I got a full-time teaching job in Idaho Falls starting next month! I FINALLY get my own classroom!!! And I couldn't be MORE excited. I'm really really nervous...but so excited at the same time. I will be teaching 1st grade, which is perfect for me and I can't wait :)

Since we have been living in Utah, we have been able to spend SO much time with family! My sister lives in Provo, and Mark's family lives between SLC and Layton. It's been really fun and we have felt so blessed all summer long.

This is a picture from a bridal shower that we all went to. Mark Aunt Claudeen, Nora and my sisters-in-law. It was a fun time!
We got season passes for Seven Peaks SLC (AKA Raging Waters) and we are able to go to so many things for free! I haven't taken many pictures yet, but I will I promise! These are the ones I have taken so far.

We got to go to the Real Salt Lake game when they played FC Dallas. It was a fun but windy game and I am so glad that we got to go!
This is the view from our house that we are staying at in Holladay. I could get used to this view...yup. I'm used to it. :)
Since we lived close to my sister and her family, we were able to go to some of the boys baseball games! There were 6 cousins on the same team, and 2 sets of brothers. How cute is that? This game was special because not only were there the 6 cousins on the team, 2 other cousins were playing against them! And their great grandma got to come! Seriously fun.
We also got to go to a Bee's Baseball Game for free!!!! It was boring at first...then it started to get good and it was a ton of fun!

It has been a great summer so far and I am not ready for it to end! Thank you everyone for making it such a wonderful summer!!!!

I like the view too. I love city lights type views!
