Ghost Wreath

Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE my mom?!?! Well...I love my mom SO much! I love that she is always coming up with cute crafts and ideas for me to do :) Yay! The new craft that I have been working on is this CUTE Halloween wreath! It is SO easy, I did it all in one night! I kept putting it off because I thought it might take a really long time...but it was really really easy.

Here are the directions:

MATERIALS:

12 inch straw wreath
assorted fabrics – total of 3 ¼ yds.
pinking shears
individually wrapped suckers - about 50 –(Tootsie Pops)
1/8 inch ribbon, yarn or cord to tie off the necks (match colors in your fabrics, i.e. orange black purple white)

permanent black marker (to draw on some eyes and mouths)
google eyes
ribbon for the bow and to weave throughout if you like
wire to attach bow
something to hang out of bow
Pencil,or chopstick to make holes in wreath
Glue – optional

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using pinking shears, cut assorted fabrics into 8 1/2 inch diameter circles (one fabric circle for each sucker)

Place one sucker in the center of each fabric circle and pull fabric up over sucker and around sucker stick

Tie 1/8 inch ribbons in a bow to secure fabric around the sucker stick

Make a hole in the wreath with a chopstick or pencil where you want to place the sucker (If desired, use glue to secure sticks in place as you push them into the wreath)

Push sucker sticks into wreath as desired until wreath is covered with ghosts

Use the marker and google eyes to make the faces on your ghosts

Tie a bow with wide ribbon and secure with wire to top center of the wreath

Embellish with Halloween bells or something that will hang from the bow.

The wreath can be used as a treat for Trick-Or-Treaters. They pull out a sucker when they come up to the door.
