Owl Theme Baby Shower

Yesterday, I had the privilege of hosting a baby shower for a good friend of mine.  We have been friends since Freshman year in college (5 years) and I was so excited to throw her a baby shower!  Carissa is going to have a baby girl, and doesn't Carissa look GORGEOUS?!

The theme for the baby shower was "Owls".  I love how everything turned out.  I forgot to take some pictures of certain things, but all of it turned out very cute.

 The menu for the baby shower was:

Fruit/fruit dip

Lemonade

Water

Lemon Poppyseed Muffins

Chicken Salad Sandwiches (DELICIOUS!)

 Yummy meatballs

Pumpkin Spice Doughnut Holes.  These are my new favorite.  They were so easy to make, and so delicious, I am going to make more tonight.  You can find the recipe by clicking here.

 Last but definitely not least...Pink Lemonade Cupcakes.  These turned out licious!

 The games we played were really easy, and fun!  I didn't take pictures of some of the games, but I can tell you about them!  

First, I had a jar full of 34 socks, and everyone had to guess how many socks were in the jar.  Someone guessed dead on, 34!  At the end of the shower, Carissa got to take all of the socks home for her new baby girl.

We also played a word scramble game.  I had a list of words that everyone had to unscramble to figure out the correct word.

Another fun game we played was guess the baby food.  Everyone had a chance to smell and taste the baby food and guess it.  Whoever guessed the most correct, won,

The last game we played was my favorite.  Everyone had a little thing of play dough, and they had to make a baby with the play dough.  Carissa got to choose which baby she liked the most.  Can you guess which one she picked?

We had a good time talking, eating, and playing some fun, easy games!  I can't wait until I get to host another baby shower.
