Between Arizona and Las Vegas (I know it's not really on the way...but why not) we went to the Grand Canyon!!! Neither of us have ever been, so we were really excited. Unfortunately, there was a giant storm that hit us right as we were entering the park, and there was some hail and lots of lightning. It was an adventure, and one that we will never forget. :) We look forward to taking our future family back to the Grand Canyon sometime and seeing more of it...without the crazy storms. Even though it was really stormy, it was still beautiful. And it is HUGE! I guess that is why they call it "Grand". I'm glad that we took the time to see this beautiful place.
As we were heading to Vegas, we saw the most beautiful sunset that I have ever seen. We had to stop multiple times to get some pictures... Seriously gorgeous.
