Things to look foward to...

May  12th - The Avengers

It's true....I am waiting a week to see it.  Not on purpose...that's just how it happened.  I haven't heard anything about it and I don't want to.  Anytime someone talks about it, I just ignore it or turn the radio off.  I am really excited to see it though.  I am going to admit it...I am a huge nerd.  One day, I will own all of the superhero movies, including all of the X MEN movies.  Maybe I just need to start buying superhero movies, instead of chick flicks that Mark hates but watches with me because he is such a good sport and husband.

May 25th - Last day of school with these little guys:

Boy am I going to miss them, but I am SO excited for a break!  It looks like I will probably be teaching summer school (I am excited about that actually).  I will have a week off then summer school starts.  The good thing is, it is only Monday-Thursday, I will most likely have a senior practicum student (right before student teaching) and it only goes until noon every day.  Plus it is only June 4 - June 28.  It will keep me busy and I get paid extra for it, so I am IN!

May 31st - MCAT.

Okay, this isn't really "something to look forward to", but the aftermath is definitely "something to look forward to".  Mark has been waiting for this moment since we got married, and it is almost here.  We are both ready for it to be done so we can start applying to medical schools...but the count down is on, with a lot of different emotions involved; mostly nervousness.

June 8th - BILL COSBY!

He is coming to Rexburg!  Weird, but who cares?  The tickets were sold out SO fast, so I was pretty lucky to get us some tickets in some real seats instead of in the bleachers up high.  It is going to be fun and I am very excited for this awesome date with my hubby!

July 4th - Freedom Run!
Okay, some of you might find this really silly...but I am so excited to run my first race.  If you know me, you know that I am not much of a runner.  I might run a couple of miles at a time, but I don't usually run very far very fast...or often.  Then I saw the princess half-marathon at Disney World and the Tinkerbell half-marathon at Disney Land when you run through the parks and I thought, "That would be SO much fun!"  SO, that is my ULTIMATE goal.  When that will happen...probably in 10-15 years after medical school and kids - if I can get back into shape.  But one day, it will happen.  I have my mind set on it.  For now, I will stick with running a 10k (or 5k...whichever my heart desires...or my body).  The point is, this is a big deal for me and I am excited.  Plus, you get a medal just for finishing and a cool shirt, who wouldn't want to do it just for that?! :)

July 29th - the beginning of our California Road Trip!!!!!!!
If you can't tell, this is what I am most excited for.

It is going to be a fun and busy summer, but we are looking forward to every second.  The countdowns have started!
