God's Creations

Last week I had the opportunity to go to Utah to go skiing with my Dad, Brother and Sister. Craig and Dad came up for a week from Texas, so it was great to see them. This is the good thing about having a job...you can leave and come back whenever you feel like it. But I sure did miss my husband. I miss him every day actually because he is at school all day and I get so bored. But that's okay...hopefully I will have a job soon! Anyway, so while I was in Utah I got to see the most beautiful sunsets almost every night and I got to look across the world at the top of mountains. You can't really capture the beauty that we saw at the top of the mountains while we were skiing. And it was freezing and I didn't want out take out my camera. But the sun was shining EVERY day that we went skiing and it couldn't have been more perfect and beautiful. I really do love living near the mountains. Texas is nice and everything, but you can't beat the beauty that is in Utah. And the sad thing is...most people don't realize how beautiful it is. They just think, "oh it's the state of the mormons." Well, it's also the state of beauty! 2 summer's ago we went to Zion's national park and Bryce canyon, and it was gorgeous. And Lake Powell is beautiful. Gosh, I am so lucky to be living so close to that beautiful state!

On the way to Provo last Monday, I witnessed this BEAUTIFUL sunset! On one side it was like an orange and purple weird looking cloud, and on the other side was this. I quickly pulled off the highway and said, "please don't go away please don't go away!" And it didn't. Isn't it just gorgeous?!
