I came home from Utah yesterday with a car FULL of Christmas decorations and presents. So today (since student teaching is over I have all day...) I decided to put them all up! I had the Christmas music playing, and the house was a mess for a few hours while I got everything set up. Then when it was all finished and I could breath (kind of...I'm sick with a cold) I got SO excited because it all turned out good! It is our first Christmas together married, and we are so excited to spend the holidays together and with our families.
Here is our Christmas tree! Yes, it is small for now...but we don't nee da big one. we have a small apartment! Lol. And yes...the stockings are hanging from the window because we don't have a fire place. I thought about hanging them from the stove, but they would just get in the way :)

I had to get some kind of ornament to remember our first Christmas together...so I got this ornament. I like it a lot :)

I also just had to get this ornament. Mark calls me his princess a lot...and I like to pretend I'm a princess a lot. So I think that it suits us. I love this ornament. If I had it my way, our tree would be a disney tree! haha, maybe when we get rich and have kids....maybe. Probably not.

This was the gumball tree that we made. We have now added a tree trunk to it....but I didn't take a picture of the finished product yet. This is what we did during the blizzard...I guess we got really bored?

And now I can finally wear my footie pajamas, and Mark can wear his new zip up blanket, and we can snuggle and drink hot chocolate and watch Christmas movies! :)

Spencer said, "Mommy Mark!" with a huge smile on his face...
So... Alyssa showed me this wonderful picture of the two of you. Mark, uh... where do I begin?? Um so is this supposed to be like a snuggie? because it looks really un-snuggy around the upper leg region, kinda like hammer pants but pajama style. Oh I know this is your outfit you wear when you go sky diving and want to do that flying squirrel stuff!! You should try to jump off the roof and see how far you can glide with those babies on! Well at least you can smuggle hams out of Broulims undetected. Well have fun staying warm this time of year while we enjoy our 70 degree weather. We wake up cold in the morning at 68 degrees in our place. The other day we were saying it felt pretty cold in our place, but then we noticed the butter that was out on the countertop was really soft. So I guess we have become accustomed to the warmer weather. I don't know what we will do when we go to Utah in a couple weeks. Maybe you'll have to loan me your pajamas! Love ya guys.
