After the wedding, we were off to California to spend a week in San Francisco! I had never been there before...and boy was it an experience to remember! It is like a whole different world out there! But it was SO much fun, and I definitely got spoiled by my wonderful husband. :)
Day one in San Francisco was PACKED with things to do! Luckily, our hotel (which was SUPER nice!) was right by Union Square, and right in the middle of everything else! So we walked everywhere we went, which was nice.

So first we went to get breakfast, then we walked to China Town! We got sweatshirts and lots of shirts there because they were so cheap. Mark wanted to get me one of the knock off purses...but just none of them caught my eye! Anyway, it was super fun being there.

Then we walked from China Town to the Coit Tower. This wasn't on our agenda for the day...but it looked interested so we thought, why not?! The view there was AMAZING!

So we went up to the very very top and it was SO cool! You could see for a long way, on every side of the tower! I was amazed by it.

For some reason, this is one of my favorite parts of San Fran! Its seriously like a grid...it's awesome!

This was looking up from the top of the tower...doesn't it look surreal?

These are out of order, but this was when we went to pier 39!

Then we walked to Fisherman's Warf and went on a boat ride around the Golden Gate and Alcatraz, then back.....

did I mention it was FREEZING! I was NUMB by the time we got back. SO not prepared for THAT! Oh, and my camera died as soon as we started going on the boat. But thank goodness for our new awesome phones with amazing cameras! Thanks dad Jackman!

Remember how I said that we had a really busy day? Yeah...it's not over yet. But luckily for you, the camera died so we didn't take a million pictures at Pier 39 like we did everywhere else. But Pier 39 was definitely my favorite part of that day. Why? Because it is full of shops and yummy food! But we did get pictures of the awesome jelly fish at the aquarium! They were seriously the best part about the aquarium. Everything else in there was LAME. But still fun because I was with my Market! ;) Then we walked home...that was the end of the fabulous day one in San Francisco!
Day two in San Fran was a bit more relaxed, which was nice. I grew up watching Full House every single day...literally. Loved the show and still do! So of course I had to go see the "Full House Houses". It is only from the opening scene...but still. Awesome! So we went for a walk to the park...it was a LONG ways away...we weren't aware of that. So we walked down some scary parts of San Fran...and I about peed my pants. I made Mark walk a different way home...not like it was THAT much better. But still! San Fran is kinda scary...but still fun.

So while we were there we had a yummy picnic! We stopped by Subway on our way there. It was yummy, fun, and relaxing!

Then on our way home we went down Lombard Street...apparently the windiest road in the world. Yeah maybe, but the windiest shortest road in the world! The next day we went to Muir Woods...and boy let me tell you that is the windiest longest road in the entire world. I had to stop to get some air so I didn't barf! But now I can say I have been to Lombard Street! I feel bad for the people that actually live on the street....

Then we were off to Sausalito, one of my favorite parts of the trip. It was beautiful there, and not foggy or too cold like in San Fran. We wanted to ride a bike across the bridge then take a ferry back, butttt we were lazy :) But we did rent a bike there and rode it along the water and it was WONDERFUL! Then we ate dinner at some yummy hole in the wall restaurant that was delicious and perfect :)

Isn't it soo cool? It was like another country :)

Mark just INSISTED to take me to the beach to watch the sunset....little did we know that we would need our sweatshirts and 3 blankets to stay warm and there was NO sunset! It was too foggy...haha but we enjoyed it for about 10 minutes and had fun while we could. Then I was numb again...I've decided that San Fran is toooo cold.

Day 3 was another relaxing but fun day! First we went closer to the bridge to take pictures and what not.

This is what the bridge looked like the whole time....

Then we drove to Muir Woods where the tall and beautiful red woods were. It was BEAUTIFUL!

And they were SO tall! It made me dizzy to look up!

I did something illegal...I left the trail. Oops, my bad :)

This was the beginning of our accidental hike......we only wanted to be there for a little while so we could go back and get ready for the night. It started out great and we thought we were on the "Ocean View Hike"...there was NO view! And it was super duper steep....awesome. We were complaining the whole time. Whenever we would pass people, they would ask us how much longer and we would ask the same thing. HAHA everyone ALWAYS exaggerated. It did seem like forever! Then at the end....we said it was fun. Funny how that works.

Then after the woods, we went to eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Mark knows it's my favorite restaurant, so he took me and it was wonderful, as usual :) And we were 8 floors up! Which was super awesome.
Then we walked to the Orpheum Theater to see Wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I actually saw that! FINALLY!!! It was SO awesome and I loved every minute....of the play that is. Walking there was horrifying, and walking back was even worse. We walked down Market Street....in very nice clothes. I was wearing a pencil skirt and mark was wearing a tie....I was scared for my life. So after the play, I wanted to take a taxi. So, we tried. We ran outside to get one and all of the cute girls were getting them! It was 11:30 p.m. and I almost refused to walk home. But we did....and I was clenching Mark's hand harder than I thought I could...we both found out how strong my hand is! HAHA :) So normally it would take 25 minutes to walk back to our hotel....it probably took us about 8 because I was walking so fast. HAHA! I just kept praying in my mind, "please let us get back safe!" And we did! And I didn't look at anyone...except Mark. That was a night I will never forget...and that was the end of San Fran!

Then we were off to Concord, Mark's home town! On our way there Mark really wanted to stop at the Jelly Belly Factory. It wasn't that cool....but we got some awesome Jelly Belly's out of it!

Mark was...REALLY excited. To say the least.

Next stop....TEXAS!
