Life...

...it really is too short. On Sunday, Mark's old roommate, and a friend of ours, passed away...let's just say in an intentional way. When I found out what happened, it was hard for me to take it in. It got me thinking about life and how we often take things for granted. I have wondered if anything would have changed if I were a better friend to him, and stopped by to say "Hi" every once in a while. He was such a nice guy, and always happy and making us laugh. Life is too short, don't take things or people for granted. Show people how much you love them, and don't go around hating and criticizing people. We are on this earth to become more like Christ, and I think it is important to ask yourself, what is the Christ like thing to do? I know this is something that I really need to work on. I have never had anybody I know very personally do something like this. So this really is an eye opener for me, and I am going to work hard to be a better person and friend. Please keep Dustin Lunceford's family in your prayers. We love him very much, and he will be very missed.

“Live for today. Multitudes of people have failed to live for today. . . . What they have had within their grasp today they have missed entirely, because only the future has intrigued them.” - William Allen White
