I have been taking a practical homemaking class this semester and I have really enjoyed it. There are 3 rotations for this class throughout the semester. The first rotation I was in was the home decor class. We learned what colors go together, different ways to arrange a room, and things like that. The second rotation I was in was the sewing class. This was fun, but a little frustrating. The sewing machines were these cute disney computerized machines...which made it kinda easy, but now I know how to sew! We got to make an apron out of an old pair of jeans, and it turned out alright. I made it for my niece, Rachel. At the top I put her initials and then under that I put tinkerbell on there. That is where it got frustrating. But I got it done and it looks pretty good! We also got to sew a pillow case with a zipper on it, and that was pretty cool. Since I love daisies and that is basically the theme in our living room, I got a fabric with dasies on it. It looks cute and its a comfy pillow. I am now in the cooking rotation and this is my favorite one! We made a yummy meal yesterday. It was delicious and I think I am going to make that more often! It was a chicken brocolli braid....it's so good. I'm loving learning these things and hoping one day I will be a good wife and mother because I know these things now!
